Variable star?

Is this a variable star? This is an animation showing Pluto's motion over 24 hours. To the right of Pluto are several stars, one of which is a couple of magnitudes brighter than given in Stellarium. I put it in between Pluto and the nearest star to the upper right of Pluto, which are 14.1 and 14.3 respectively, so that would make the circled star around 14.2. Stellarium gives 16.1.
